Ya.... typo... sorry, it should be GSM (Global System for Mobile communications: originally from Groupe Spécial Mobile) modem

yup...i know using GSM modem is the easyiest way..but it will make my the device very costly... so any idea on using other alternative?? tq...

Have you manage to get the handphone? Personally, I have not try it before. But the author did write a very good guide. Love to try it some day, if time permits. Anyway, let us know your progress/findings...
