hi,

if u have cytron's SKXBee connected to computer, set the address of DL, MY to match the Xbee module on PR23. sending of data out from PR23 to computer will be same as sending data using UART. transparent mode can be used for simplicity, can try up API mode 1 which is very simple too.

hello,

API modes either API mode 1 or 2 are explained in user manual of Xbee module and also digi website (www.digi.com) . take a look on it :)

in API modes data are sent as packets. in a packet there are more than a bytes representing various information other than the data, such as RSSI and the address. it also has the check sum byte in every packets to make sure the data received are correct.

pls take a look on the user manual 1st, and if still confuse, don't hesitate to ask here. for now, your question is too general to be answered.
thanks&regards,
