1. KC21 only provide SPP, Serial Port Profile. You can only use serial port to transfer your file. If in HyperTerminal, you can use Transfer-> Send file....

2. What is the host for KC21? A computer? Use HyperTerminal to transfer

basically im going to use this module(attached with microcontroller) to receive a file that send by others(PC, Laptop or mobile phone) and save it in a external memory storage(which is connected with the microcontroller). can this be done?

In that case, the program on your microcontroller play the important part, not the KC-21. Because once the KC-21 Bluetooth is connected, it becomes a wireless serial port.

Never develop program to receive such a big file before using microcontroller, cannot give much advise on this. You will need to save those files according to their special format, might also require big size of external storage. Are you plan to store it in removable drive like SD? If that is so, it gets more complex where you have to deal with file system, FAT.

I am wondering, why do you transfer those kind of file to microcontroller?

As I said, it is not related to SKKCA-21 anymore. This is about developing program to receive file into microcontroller. Yes, txt file or any file is possible. You need to consider how to receive it, store it and later use it.

I am not familiar with file system, cannot help much here.

Yes, Micro SD card module can be used to store data, and can be external memory. But we do not have any sample code for PIC yet, thus please go through the data sheet or User's Manual in order to develop it.

you are using Bluetooth dongle to connect SKKCA-21? Or built in Bluetooth device? The SKKCA-21 is tested with Bluetooth dongle and the Bluesoleil that can be downloaded from Cytron site. I am not sure what is the problem as it might be your built in Bluetooth device, and are you using the correct windows? Because as we know, Window Vista has problem with Bluesoleil.
