USB Devide Not Recognized

When I plugged the SKKCA to USB port, windows massage appear "USB Devide Not Recognized"...so i tried to check physically the SKKCA..i found that some pin on FTDI chip is short circuited..i attached the pic for reference..is it because of that?or else

Hi,

Good to post the photo so that easily understand the statement.
Those FT232's pins (19 - 20 and 25 - 26) are purposely connected together. Anyway, most probably "USB not recognized" problem is caused by the circuitry on that part. Is there any dirt (connecting elements) on that part which will caused it to malfunction? BTW, have you successfully connect it before? Did you install the USB driver already?

Hi..i never used it before..it is my first time..so i can't used or install because it is not recognize by windows..the soldering seems ok..no dirt..

It needs to install the driver in order for the USB to work. Have you tried it? Anyway, you can return the product for warranty. We will verify the problem. Please go to "Support" tab at our website and fill in the form. Thanks.
