Hi guys..
I have bought 2 Xbee and UC00A, then I develop own level shifter to communicate with PC, I follow the instruction to write firmware into Xbee (using XCTU modem configuration). At first there is no problem, until at the middle of downloading, error happened and fail. Then I try again, unfortunately, my Xbee cannot be detected. I have try several times still not work. I'm sure the Xbee still fine (not burn), the error downloading make it like this.

Anyone have this experience? Please do share with me..
Thanks :)

Thanks yonghui,
however i cannot download the firmware because XCTU cannot communicate with my Xbee (cannot detect). It is hardware problem? Hmm, if i said hardware problem, XCTU can detect my Xbee at first try, can download firmware, just error happened at the middle of downloading and after that my Xbee cannot be detected. Confusedx2... huhu...
What should I do? :(

hi,
have u try to follow the step below? the reset button is important in this case. after select the correct setting, make sure always update firmware in xctu is ticked, else it wont work. hold reset and click write, do not release reset until the pop up. last time i do this for the corrupted firmware. it works

Firmware corruption:

Method to restore firmware on SKXBEE

1) Connect USB cable to SKXBee and to computer
2) Lauch X-CTU and set t default setting - COMx(the biggest number COM), 9600bps, 8data bit, no priority and 1 stop bit
3) Go modem configuration tab, select XB24(for XBEE) and XBP24 (for XBEE-PRO)
4) Select XBEE 802.15.4 for function set and 10CD for version
5) Select always update firmware and and show default
6) Press and hold the RESET button on SKXBee
7) Click write on XCTU window
8) When action required box come out, release the RESET button
9) The box will disappear and start burning firmware
10) If fail, please try a few time.
thanks&regards,

Yup, I tried that method before, you really need to connect RTS and DTR (CTS is additional), because you need to reload the firmware and the minimum connection is 6. I think SKXBee is pre-connected on board.

Anyway what are you plan to do with XBee?
