I guess there was a fault in the programmer. Maybe connection error???
But anyways, manage to get it to work though.

Which programmer? I thought you change compiler. So you changed both? The compiler and Programmer?

That's what I'm thinking too. :o The programmer would always give you an error message if the program burned into the PIC is verified not the same as the source hex file. Are you home brewing your own programmer? ;)
