Hi.
i got a problem here.
how do i know whether my TX-315 module is sending signal or not.
i am using the pt2262 to connect to the tx 315.
can i check it with multimeter at pin 17?

while the pt2272 is connect to my RX315
how do i know it is receiving signal?

If you have expensive equipments like frequency counter, RF meter, oscilloscope, logic probe, of course you will know that your circuit is working or not.

I think what you want to ask is "How do I trouble shoot my RF module setup?". To do trouble shooting, we can treat your setup as A: PT2262 B:Tx 315 C:RX 315 D:PT2272 as 4 components. Without the expensive test gears, you'd have to have at least 3 known good working components in order to confirm the 4th ones, right?

OK, I've thought of one way to test the PT2262.

Get a cheap logic probe (or make one yourself) and connect the test input to the DOUT pin.
Connect all the odd addresses to GND.
Connect all the even addresses to Vcc.
Connect a button switch to /TE and GND.
Connect the power supply (Battery) to Vcc and GND.
connect an appropriate resistor across the OSC.
Press the button and you should see pulses on the logic probe.

If you have the pulses there means that the PT2262 is probably good. Now at least you know that the component A is OK.
