Communication Between XBEE2 and MC68HC11

Postby apple » Fri Apr 20, 2012 12:06 pm

Hello guys,

I am new to XBEE2. I am planning to do a mesh communication using 3 XBEE2's. I am now working out with point to point communication first. At current stage, I had configured the XBEE2 according to the guide in cytron. Now, may i know how is XBEE2 communicating with 6811? I basically needs the XBEE2 at Board A to send signal to XBEE2 at Board B to activate the system.

Thank you guys!

Just use the uart interface. Not sure if MC68HC11 has it, but I think it should. Are u using the SKXBee or XBee module? I think your MC68HC11 is 5V based and XBee is running on 3.3V. Please take note...

Hi apple,

Never played with XBee but I have done some 68HC11 programming many moons ago. Which SBC and what language are you using on the 68HC11? I have quite a few 68HC11 in 48 PDIP format that I savaged from used PCBs and I am looking for a project to make use of it. Are you using external ROM and RAM for the HC11 ?
