i am using the ht12d and e to make a remote control.
the a0-a7 of both ht12d and e is same, the d0-d3 of encoder is connect to switch to ground. te connect to gnd
Rsoc of 12e is 1M and 12d is 33k
d0-d3 of 12d is connect the led
then i connect the pin17 of 12e to pin14 of 12d
but it does'nt work, pls help me

According to the datasheet, the decoder osc freq. is 50x the encoder osc freq. Since you're using 1M for encoder which is 3KHz at 5V. So the decoder osc freq should be 150KHz at 5V which is 51K NOT 33K.

Try using 51K and see if it works...
