Connect RFID(PR25) reader to computer

hi..

- is that possible to connect RFID(PR25) reader to computer???

For info....

- i try to connect the reader via UC00A (USB to UART converter) to the computer using hyperterminal just to check whether it will shows value or not. indeed it shows and the value is in ascii code.
- The problem here is whenever i swipe the card it shows different value i.e

1st swipe - xxxððøøððøð
2nd swipe - øøðøøøðøðøø
3rd swipe - øøøøøøøøøðø

- any solution to this problem...

Have you gone through the Details Description of PR25? I think that DIY project used different RFID reader which output ID with Weigand format, not UART format. Thus direct connection to UC00A (UART to USB) will end up unknown data.

Verify the card ID output with original PR25, it should output same ID every time you swipe the card.

Please categorize the area of troubleshooting and debug it part by part.
