Hi guys,
Seeking for your profressional helps again. I have a new project with me now...the project title still haven't decide yet as there are various titles for me to choose. I am quite interested to one of the topics and it is related to RFID. In this project we need to build a miniature safety box open using RFID card and double verify by a key in password. Frankly speaking I am currently a mechatronic student, and in my opinion this topic is more towards to the communication & electrical engineering as I never learn this thing before...Is it risky to choose this project?? Please give me some suggestion thanks a lot.

If you are able to write C Language, you are able to do microcontroller project including RFID project. Microcontroller project design always not involve complicated electronic circuit rather than analog circuit design..

Actually there isn't much about communication...unless your project requires you to design the RFID reader on your own.
So generally your project is a combination of these two DIY project set:

RFID Door Lock
