Integrate with MySql

Hi all expert...let see this example...iam using vb to read the rfid tag id that will display in the textbox..is it posible to connect the detected id in the textbox with the mysql(database)...if yes,how to do that?? please help me..

Im interested with this topic too..
Wanna ask how to compare the Tag ID with the data stored in MySQL to perform login function...
Is it possible to integrate with php login ?
