hi ..
I have a problem to connect cr038 readers with vb2010 .. where I need a reader to read the tag id numbers.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

what is the problem? Can you access to COM port in VB2010? How is the hardware connection?

reader connection to the computer (com port) already done .. but the reader does not read the tags .. I do not know what the problem is .. maybe coding or protocol missed

Yes, most likely is the data/command send to the reader is having problem, double check the data you send to the reader.
