Suggestion for Powering Raspberry Pi 4

Postby mastersumen » Mon Mar 08, 2021 11:08 pm

Hi everyone, I am looking for some suggestion to power Raspberry Pi 4 with either battery or power bank. Have anyone tried any ways? Is it sufficient to power up RPi4 and 5-inch with 10000mah power bank? Thank you in advance.

I guess it depends on the peak current your power bank can supply. The 10000maH is the capacity of power bank.

For normal operation, a power bank with 2.4A output current should be sufficient. Yet, if there is a sudden surge of power demand due to high processing needs, the power bank might not be in time to provides the power needed, voltage might drops and the Raspberry Pi might restart.

You can use Anker PowerCore 26800, as it is a high capacity power bank designed with advance technology. And it is a 28600mAh power bank that can help you to recharge faster than usual.
