Making a 6 AA battery connector

Postby ck88 » Sun Mar 06, 2011 4:16 pm

Hello,

I would like to make a 6 AA battery connector to achieve an output voltage of approximately 9V, since Cytron are not selling 6 AA battery connectors, can I make one out of 3 pieces of 2 AA battery connectors or 2 pieces of 3 AA battery connectors? Kindly give me a tutorial on this :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Any combinations will do. a 4xAA and a 2xAA in series will also get you 9V. I can find 6xUM1 4xUM1 battery holders easily. I used 2 of those as a battery backup for my home alarm system.
