In our project, we will use 14 rc servo motor which we decide to use C36R. The controller that we plan to use is 16 channel servo controller while the power supply we choose LIPO Battery 7.4V 900mAH. Are the component that we choose compatible to each other? These are because we afraid that the current might not be enough to be used for 14 motors and the robot might be function for a short time. Please give some advice and recommendation of battery that should be used. Urgent.

900mAH, er.... might not be sufficient to drive all 14 servo for long time. Yet, it depends on many factors. Do you need all 14 RC servo to be ON all the time? If so, easily it will take more than 14A, I afraid the battery will not "tahan" for 1 minute

Another thing you have to take care is the voltage. I think most of servo can only stand up to 6V, or 7.2V for higher power motor, but 7.4V li-po after fully charge is around 8.4V, it will definitely kill the servo before the battery cannot "tahan".

Hey, I think Cytron did a half body walking robot before, I remember they use some circuit to regulate the power to lower voltage yet provide high current. Check their site out. But 14 Servo is quite a lot of current, you might need to improve it. Good luck!

Yes, it depends on many factor. If it is not enough, use two lipo battery. However, i suggest you to trial and error first.
You have to step down your power supply to 6-7V else it may spoilt your servo motor.

can i use battery with 7.4v 2000mAH and i used the regulator to regulate the voltage to 5v?is it compatible with the controller?

Consider, 5V regulator only can supply 1A. So, for every 1-2 servo, use 1 regulator. Or you can find boost current circuit using TIP2955.
