Depending on the rating of your battery and connection. I would suggest you to get a proper charger if possible.

Agreed with zhenning..... you might get lucky, but .... mostly will spoil the battery or shorten the life.

Thanks for the reply!
The battery is 7.2V with 700mah, don't know whether it could charge using 9V 800ma adapter or not
I'm finding a way to charge the batteries without using a market charger.

1st do u know the full charge voltage of the battery? nominal cell voltage is 1.2V but a fully charge battery should be 1.4++v
2nd do u know how do u detect whether a battery is fully charged? there is a proper method, either by temperature or by voltage change rate.
3rd do u know the dangerous of serially charge the battery pack? u might over charge or undercharge some of the cell inside.not all cell inside the pack charge or discharge at the same rate.

if u dont mind about ur battery pack life time, then u can simple charge it with improper method. the battery might leak.

see the link below on guidline of charging nickel based battery, or NiMH battery.

Thanks for the reply.
Actually the 7.2V battery is the battery that used in remote control car. The batteries are sealed together when i bought it, and there are 6AA batteries in it. Sorry if my description state it unclear.
Does this make any differences with 6XAA in series?

Ahh.. I have the same battery rating too. The charger is rated at 7.2V 250mA :)
