GSM + PR11

hi. im planning to buy GSM module and PR11.here, can u explain how to connect the GSM and the PR11 circuit? the operation is like; when the sensor detect certain value, then the GSM will send me a message as a notification.

Usually GSM module required UART interface for communication. So as long as you can setup UART from PR11's PIC microcontroller, you're there.

Yup, sich is correct, all you need is UART and of course need to have MAX232 if I assume the GSM modem is RS232, not TTL 5V.

thats mean if i buy the GSM module + PR11, i just have to programm the PIC, isn't ?
