PR29 Modification ? HELP

Hi,

If you wish to change "user" to someone's name in GUI, you need to make some changes in the GUI program and not from the PIC program. But for exporting to hyperterminal, the changes can be made in PIC code.

why lcd display like that?
is it my board circuit problem?

There should be something wrong with the circuit. Please double check again.

It might be the connection problem at the LCD data pins. Try to check and touch up your connection...

Agreed with hyng and sich, there is some wrong with the soldering or connection from PIC to the LCD.

thanks for ur advice..i'll double check the lcd connection again..
one more thing, can u guys give some opinion on how to illustrate the fingerprint
image by using fingerprint reader (UART) which comes together with PR29 set..because my project
was using this reader to read and illustrate the image in PC and save the image in database..instead of using
PR29 kit which save the fingerprint in GUI, I want to convert it to display the image of fingerprint..hope u guys can
help me lol
