How to alter, that is many answer. Different programmer will have different answer. You need to learn program first.
For answer, this also can be answer: ALARM=1

Of course you can implement an alarm to the project. There are 5 pins on the PIC left free for you to use, RA 4&5,RC 5&6&7. Just connect a relay through a transistor using one of the above pins would give you an output point for your siren.

But how to alter the program to do it? That would depend on how much you know about PIC and C language. Have you read the Manual and the attached C program?
