I have read "Do it yourself" document of this IC & I observed that there 4 switches can be used & play 4 recordings each 15 seconds. My problem is "is it possible to use this IC to record & play 8 recordings each 6 or 7 seconds using 8 switches..............???
If can what are the changes that I should do to circuit.

1st, forgot what is that DIY project, so if you can please explain a bit about the project. What is that? I assume is related to voice/sound playback 
OK, basically you will need to understand the functions of switches on the original design. You might need to modify the hardware (adding switches), yet you might also need to modify the program to read the extra switches to perform some task, right?
Adding switches is very basic, refer to the original circuit, duplicate it at other unused pin, ensure those is digital pin.... of course the program too. If the project involve MCU, I am pretty sure you will need to modify the program.
