hi, i am using a pic16f877a and i find that its ram no enough for my project. and i try with pic18f458. its sucessfull on simulation but anyway, i dont know hardware will success or not? anyone please help me...i am using mikroC program.

Other people can't answer that because the answer is depends on you. If you construct right circuit and good troubleshoot, then it can working.

i heard that if use 18f PIC then need use mikro C pro..and the setting is no same with 877a, is it true? anyone have using 18F458 as micro controller for project?

ofcourse not same between PIC16 and PIC18. Anything configuration just refer to datasheet. I'm not using Mikro C, I'm using Hi-Tech.

If you are in MikroC, please press Ctrl-Shift-E to bring out the "Edit Project" window. Change the microcontroller and the other settings for the chip in this window.

MikroC for PIC supports PIC12F, PIC16F and PIC18F series.

You are migrating the PIC16 code to a PIC18 code - change the registers according to the datasheet.
PIC - UIC00B from Cytron (replacement for my broken PICKit 2), Pickit 3, MikroC for PIC
dsPIC - MikroC for dsPIC, mikromedia board (dsPIC33)
AVR - AVR Dragon
Parallax - Prop tool

okay..but for the device flag, which check box need tick? i already choose default and it work on simulation. but real hardware dont know will work or not. i am using pic18f458 with lcd.
