can anyone help for communicate 2 stepper motor 1 gsm modem

and im also have ir sensor as object detector

so can anyone tells me how much pic really i needed to control all those things. or i can just using 1 pic. if can wheres the point of connection that i can plug in? because as i notice the stepper driver using uart at point r3,r4,r6 and r7 as rx and tx. so then my gsm modem also need the rx and tx same goes to my ir sensor.

Depends on your selection of your solution,

You can use software uart if the hardware uart is not enough. You can also switch to a PIC which has more uart.
