Just to share, since this is a related post, here's my humble project, hacking 2.4ghz RF module. 8 channel with each channel capable of transmitting solid 7-bit data, which comes to 56 discrete high/low signal. I'm using 4 of the channel for analog controller (joystick) while the other 4 channel for something else....
The green LCD is reading from transmitter, while the black LCD is reading from receiver, both for debugging purpose only.
I bought a damaged RC controller for the joysticks, from a local hobby shop, for RM20. It's damaged mostly due to circuit problem, but the joystick remain intact.
