SKPIC32 usb is not detect

Postby dande » Thu Oct 13, 2011 12:04 pm

Hai, I got a problem which I don't know is that my method is wrong or the hardware problem. Coz i'm totally a new learner for PIC32.

I just bought the SKPIC32. I connect the board using USB cable to the PC. But the HID bootloader display an error message. " No device attached. Verify the device in the bootloader mode".

I use Windows 7 and it is shown that the USB is not detected. I also try with some other OS such XP and Vista and the same message appear.

Please consult me regarding this matter.

TQ.

hi there.

u will need to switch the skpic32 into bootloader mode before the board runs the usb bootloader mode.
entering by press and hold the switch to the left of the board and at the same time reset the board with reset button on the right.

i think u will need to refer to the user manual for more information on entering bootloader mode.

Hi,
So far, SKPIC32 don't have the user manual yet.. sorry about that, we will try to come out a tutorial by next week.
Yes, you need to press and hold the SW when you power up/reset the skpic32 in order to get into bootloader mode.
