gsm module ( sms )

Does any one has work with gsm module?
Can some one give me the details I need.

I am doing a temperature sensor using lm35 and I am hoping to do something like this : when the temperature reaches for example 25 degree Celsius it send me a sms.

I had never used gsm module so can some one help me a bit , I was looking in the data sheets to have an idea on what i need to do.
