HID bootloader for PIC18F4550

i use "USB Device - HID - HID Bootloader - C18 - PIC18F4550.hex" that i download from microchip as my firmware. the firmware i download it to PIC using PICkit 2. i also use HID bootloader from microchip and mplab x.
the problem is when i try to download my program to pic using usb by my bootloader it not boot my program. i try the bootloader with other pic that lecture burn it firmware and it work. the program also work that pic.
can i use SK40C firmware to pic for my bootloader because it design almost the same.
