Ultrasonic Distance Meter

Hi,
is that the kit for Arduino can be use to build my project which is ultrasnonic distance meter?
this is exactly my project title : (Design a transmitter to generate ultrasonic waves. Design a receiver to measure the distance between the system and the object. This possibly requires a microcontroller to calculate the distance. An automatic change of direction as the two cranes entering the warning zone. The warning signal can be displayed either by using a LED or a beeper at the monitoring site.)

There are plenty of example if you search the Internet. I do not sure whether there is ready kit, but you still need to browse through those examples as most project will has its own unique design, some use high quality sensor, some use ready shield, some uses different Arduino main board.
