HEART RATE PULSE SENSOR MikroC CODE

Hi, I purchased a pulse sensor from this great site for my project but unfortunate for me the sample code that comes with it is for arduino and i want to used it with PIC18F45K22. Please somebody help me with a sample code for MikroC so that i can get started. I know that the common way of doing it is by using interrupt and timer stuff but i am new to that aspect. Thanks in advance
