Hi everyone!

in PR8 project, there was given the circuit that makes the conversion of RFID reader output serial uart to TTL for PIC, I'd like to know if there is no other way to interface the rfid reader to PIC without cutting down the wires of DB-9 cable.

in attachment i present my circuit using an MAX232 i need your opinion if the circuit will work or not.

Confused, the earlier question is about RFID and RS232, but this is GSM. Which code are you referring to? What GSM modem? What microcontroller? There are thousands of possibilities.
