BlueBee Send Data to Computer via Built-in Bluetooth

Postby mohdismiaswaly » Tue Jan 05, 2016 5:28 pm

Hello everyone,

I have referred to a link:

http://tutorial.cytron.com.my/2014/08/06/using-bluebee-in-master-mode/

I am planning to make connection wirelessly between:

A = PIC with BlueBee module (no need shield or SKXBee) <<< correct?

B = computer (built-in bluetooth)

Operation = A will continuously send data (just display simple string "Hello") to B and display on hyperterminal.

B will become Master (request connection) and A will become slave. Initially need to pair both A & B with bluebee default Pincode: 1234

Is it possible? Previously I have successfully done similar project as above but A (PIC + RF module) and B (UIC00A module to computer USB port) then hyperterminal choose COM PORT as seen in device manager.

Any thoughts? :D

Thanks...

Hi,

Yes it is similar to RF project that you have done. The only difference is how you initiate connection between your PC and BlueBee. After you have paired the BlueBee with your PC, COM port dedicated to BlueBee will appear. To initiate the connection, just open the related COM Port.
