The first week of Share & Get Rewarded campaign had passed! We've selected some winners for the RM50 shopping vouchers. You may receive more than one voucher if you submit more great projects with great explanation ;)

Don't forget that out of all projects posted in our Project Showcase forum from 25th April to 31st May 2012, we will evaluate and select ONE Best Project Sharing to be entitled for RM300 Cash Money. There are 4 more weeks to go. Quickly post yours today!

Below are the RM50 shopping voucher winning projects for the first week of campaign and our comments. Projects order is not according to actual ranking.

[1] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Project: Automatic Fan Speed using Temperature (LM35) and PIR sensor
Designer: Premkumar S/O Selamani
Comment:
- He's using 8051 microcontroller and this makes him stands out of the crowds compared to others who are using PICs.
- Energy-saving concept.
- However, designer needs to improve his 'only one person' PIR sensor detection.

[2] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Project: LM35 Temperature Sensor with Fixed Voltage Reference
Designer: YH
Comment:
- Introduce a new PIC feature (Fixed Voltage Reference) to readers.
- Well-documented.
- Kudos to his willingness to share!

[3] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Project: PIC32MX SD-Card Wave File Player
Designer: YH
Comment:
- Introduce the new 32-bit microcontroller - PIC32MX120F032B (28-DIP!)
- I can feel his passion in building and explaining the project.
- Make your project plays music... isn't that awesome?

[4] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Project: Mini 2-wheels self-balancing robot
Name: fkwl
Comment:
- This is an interesting project and I'm sure it's fun to play with this robot!
- He gives link to the reference project that helps him to kick-start and also includes the basic information needed to create this mini balancing robot.
