Arduino Uno Rev3

I am doing a fire detecting robot for my project.
For the time being, I am planning to use the Arduino Uno Rev3 as my main board and connected with 3 range sensors & 1 flame sensor.
Can i know is the board suitable for my project?

Hmm...Yes, basically Arduino can be used for anything as long as you know how to do it. For your case, if your sensors' output is analog, you may use the AnalogIn pins. Otherwise SPI, UART, I2C are ready to communicate with your sensors too if they require such interface.

Ok thanks a lot...and another things i want to ask is i may used DTMF to control the robot, and i will be building another circuit board...what i worry is at last it can be combined together with the arduino board?
