Arduino Ethernet Shield

whether the Ethernet Shield you can use if my project is operating in accordance with the following steps:
doorbell is pressed then the camera automatically snap picture the presser. after that, my system automatically sent the picture earlier to the home owner email via internet connection.
can anyone help me with the suitable kit to use in this project.?
how the system can sent picture to email user.?
do i need setting web server or do something else to make sure my project success...
help pliz... TQ....
