Increase Analog Port Number

Postby tanminggui » Fri Nov 01, 2013 12:38 pm

Hi all,

I am new to this area.

I have a arduino uno board and I am trying to increase the analog port numbers. Can a multiplexer get this done? I have 10 sensors input by the way.

Please help me on this.
Thank you.

I think it should work using CMOS bi-laterial switch or MUX like 4066, 4051,4052 and 4053. Make sure there is plenty of delays in between channel scannings.

You can find serial ADC, the chip read analog and interface with MCU using SPI. I fotgot any model coz never use yet.

Hey guys,

Thanks so much for the info. I think I will just go with 16 channel multiplexer.
Thank you.
