Urgent Inquiry ( Arduino + Sensors )

Postby M Jaff » Mon Jan 27, 2014 4:13 pm

Dear All

I have to do a project which is based on Arduino + DC motor connected to MATLAB/Simulink
In order to do the task required from me, I have to measure ( Voltage + Current + Speed) of the DC motor and get the result in Matlab

My inquires are :
1- Which type of Arduino is better to interface with Matlab in Real Time ?
2- Type of DC motor
3- Types of Sensors mentioned Earlier ( and how can i connect it to MATLAB (Codes) ).

Your help will be appreciated

1) any arduino or MCU can uae
2) any dc motor can use
3) the sensor is not affected by matlab but depends on you parameter. voltage can use voltage transducer or simply use voltage divider. current can use current sensor. speed can use encoder ex from type IR.

Many thanks Mr.Shah

But if you don't mind , Can you be more specific , because i don't have any experience in practical experiment

Thanks again for replying
Honestly , I need to know more about models of the sensors and also the codes required to send the data to computer
