Ardupilot for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

1. May I know the difference between Ardupilot and Ardupilot Mega?
2. Can you give me the list of items I need to purchase from Cytron in order to build a complete UAV? I'm having trouble finding the right infrared xy and z sensor, which gps module, and do I have to purchase both 3x40 and 1x40 ways straight pin header? Is there anything else I should get? I really dont want to missed out any important items.
