Hai I want to use RFbee to transmit data wireless. It is possible.as many tutorial use Xbee with Fio..If it possible, how about the switch on RFbee. which mode is needed. Trans or AT. tq

Hi jibby93,

Yes you can use RFBee to transmit data wireless. You need to set RFBee to Trans mode. Please refer to this tutorial Wireless Communication between Arduino and Computer with RFBee

Hai Idris

I want to use Arduino Flo + IMU + RFbee to transmit data to PC....it is possible? I watched many tutorial use Xbee with arduino flo so I want to know if RFbee can be used instead of Xbee on flo?

If you want to program the Arduino Fio through RFBee, you can't. But if you just want to transfer the data wireless, yes you can.

okay, then how to configure Rfbee through fio? as previously I use xbee shield to configure it with arduino uno. I configure it exactly like link: Wireless Communication between Arduino and Computer with RFbee . As while using xbee shield we need to change the jumper ect. Do you have any suggestin how I could configure it? I have 2 RFbee, SKXbee, Xbeeshlied ,arduino fio ,and imu. your help really appreciate

I have check Arduino Fio schematic, it seems like you can't configure RFBEE (AT command) using Fio. Since you have SKXBEE, why don't you use it to configure RFBEE?

Just want to highlight, you still can use Fio to do normal wireless transmission between 2 RFBEE.

Okay..now i think I get it.. one more question...refer to this tutorial :http://tutorial.cytron.com.my/2012/12/03/getting-started-with-arduino-fio/ , did I need to do modification on my skxbee ? it mentioned that :

"You will need to do some modification on the SKXBee to enable wireless bootloading J.Take the SKXBee Rev2.0, look carefully, at the right side of XBee module, there are 2 pads labeled as DTR and DIO3, short it using solder lead."

Since I cannot load program using RFbee did I need to solder the pads(DTR and DI03) ?

That modification is for wireless bootloading (wireless programming). No need to do that (short DTR and DIO3) if you are using RFBee. You can program Arduino Fio using UC00A.
