Amplifying small DC signal

Postby naz » Tue May 26, 2015 10:44 am

Hello guys,

I want to amplify the small DC signal that produced by O2 sensor. So, it can be read by Arduino. But the problem is, I unable to amplify the signal because the original circuit are using AD8572 Op-Amp which is SMD type. So, I change it to OP07CP which I find it's equivalent to AD8572.

There's some changes are made.
1. Change the Op-Amp from AD8572 to OP07CP.
2. Change -ve voltage (pin 4) to Arduino GND.
3. The input voltage are taken from Arduino 5V pin.

Attached is the OP07CP, AD8572 datasheet, original circuit and new circuit.

Thank you.

But, there is some problem. I unable to amplify the signal. So I wonder if I need to change the connection on pin 4 to -ve voltage rail (-5V) or just let it connected to GND? (Refer to OP07CP circuit).
