+5 to VIN and uc00a

Hi,

I have a ESPRESSO-LITE-2.0 powered by permanent +5V power supply connected to VIN. When I connect the uc00a the Espresso appears to reboot (based on the DS-OLED-MOD showing the espert logo and then the expected text).

1. Is there any way to prevent this?
2. Does this cause damage to the uc00a or Espresso?

Hi,

Does it keep reboot or just reboot once when you plug in UC00A to Espresso Lite v2.0 powered with permanent external power supply +5V?

For your case you can try just bend the VIN pin from 6 pin header on Espresso Lite v2 board, so UC00A just connects 5 pins other than VIN, UC00A will not supply +5V to VIN.
