External power with mp3 shield

Postby Desruim » Mon Dec 05, 2016 12:50 am

I tried to power the arduino and mp3 shield with 4 AA batteries. The power led on the shield is on but the speakers (external or audio jack) are not working. When I plug the USB in the computer, all is fine. Can you help me to bring that shield more mobile? Thanks.

I solved my problem. I pluged the batteries in the 7-12V barrel of the Arduino. Now, I plug them in the 5V pin of the Arduino. All is fine now.
Thanks.
