I have bought this adapter recently but I am wondering if it can be connected to power my linear actuator via a single channel relay breakboard.

Can anyone please guide me on the electrical connection :? :?

Adapter : https://www.cytron.io/p-adapter-12v-2a- ... Jd_yNWWq2E
Linear Actuator: https://www.lazada.com.my/-i434295398-s ... em_title.1

Appreciate much if someone could help.

Hi xuhaoteoh,

You need to understand how do relay works first, then you will realize the connection is easy. Try imagine you are using a switch (instead of relay) to activate the motor, could you draw the connection?

I think it is connected like this.

Do you know what is that component?

The circuit diagram seem to be working, but if you use Relay module, you will not be able to control the speed of motor.
May consider using MD10C or MD13S, works with 12V and just two pins from Arduino too, offer direction, start, stop and speed control.
I do notice your button connection seem to be weird, check that part again.

And for the second question, that seem to be mating connector for the DC adapter, it should be this DC Jack Female socket
