Good days, I have some problems about my final year project. My FYP is about Application of RFID in Supply Chain. I'm quite new here. I need your advice which best components of that I have to choose to build and RFID?
Secondly, I still cannot find any solutions to integrate the RFID to Database in purpose of tracking the history about the products in supply chain such as time, product code, type of product, status and so on.
I really hope that you guys can help me.

If your computer has a Serial port at the back, you can save money and just make connection through the DB9 connector. You can also construct a GUI yourself. Make sure you have your basic things working first. Then, only start to think of improvements. If your improvement methods failed, at least you will have something to present =)

I need your advise about my project. DB9 is hardly found on nowadays especially while connect to the PC. Perhaps it can replaced with USB. If can, what is the method? Or using RJ45 and use another device to support? Currently I am on progress in developing the database for the project. The scope is in warehouse where the RFID track and trace stock in and out and I add on some tracing on expiry date of the product and which shelf its located in warehouse. Please guys help me

Active X Data Object. Is it the right choice for me to integrate R.F.I.D. with Database? Any opinions from you guys? Now I'm using Visual Basic for developing the GUI and M.S Access for the database. Hopefully you guys can help me? I'm very new here.
