Hi..

i am a final year student i would like to get some suggestion and guidance regarding
my final year project(fyp).

i am going to do a project on sustainable flowmeter.i am planning to use the turbine flowmeter and the wind turbine concept
to generate electric as the power supply for the flowmeter to function.therefore,i would like some suggestion or opinion on this project.

it is possible to connect the turbine flow meter and the generator (to generate electric)??
what type of generator that i need to use??
do u have turbine flowmeter and generator??

thank you..
regards..

hi,
can u explain more in simple words?
what is the use of the flow meter? is it to measure the rotation speed of turbine?
your turbine is is wind turbine?

i thought that the wind turbine is for generating electric. wind turbine is connected to the generator.
thanks&regards,

hi..
thx 4 the reply..

im using the turbine flow meter to measure the flow rate of flowing fluid in pipe..
the flow meter will get the electricity (power supply) by generating itself..
the idea is to use the same concept as wind turbine..as the the turbine will connected to a generator..

so as turbine flow meter,im planing to connect it with a generator..im not planning to generate large amount of voltage..
just enough to use it to make the flow meter functioning..

is it possible to do it?? any suggestions??
really appreciate if u can help me :)

it depends on how much power your turbine can generate. and how much electric power your motor will consume.
