Nice project and nice PCB design. Since this is a digital clock, I'd put a button cell like CR2032 to backup the PIC and LCD in case there is a power failure. Of course the backlight has to be switched off also.

Shahrul, nice work you have there. The "time" being calculate using main oscillator? Because I din see 32KHz crystal. Are you using the sleep mode?

A part from that, the CR2032 suggested by Allen is not that practical if you want to display LCD and maintain the CPU operation (no sleep mode). Normally CR2032 is used purely for RTC to count and save register only. If the PIC and LCD is working, should not be enough to stay on for long :D

The time counting by main oscillator, using Timer Interrupt. This is only sample for beginner, that why no RTC. I'm not using sleep mode.
