PCB Program

Postby TeoYX » Wed Sep 14, 2011 6:13 pm

Hi all,

Anyone familiar with Eagle software (PCB Schematic Layout program)? Do you know what is the symbol for the battery holder?

Hope somebody can help on this. Thanks a lot in advance.

I have used a bit. Have you checked the Instructables tutorial? They have a couple of tutorials of designing PCB using Eagle. :)
PIC - UIC00B from Cytron (replacement for my broken PICKit 2), Pickit 3, MikroC for PIC
dsPIC - MikroC for dsPIC, mikromedia board (dsPIC33)
AVR - AVR Dragon
Parallax - Prop tool

Hi all,

ya, i also found the tutorials, however, there is no library for that? Does anyone have the Eagle library for the "adapter socket" and "push button switch"?

Please help if you know where to download or if you have, please pm to me, i will provide you my email.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Teo,

I've created a new forum for "PCB Design" and your post has been removed to this forum.

About your question, you can search for Sparkfun's Eagle library online. They open the library for download somewhere out there. The components you want should be available in their library. Have a try.

hi,

I am using the PR25 and doing the PCB schematic diagram. However, i found that there is no symbol for Push Button from the library which you recommended. It is 2 pins only. Does anyone know the symbol for Push Button? If yes, can send me this part library only?

Hope can get your help. Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Grab the sparkfun library and add it to the eagle libraries:

http://www.opencircuits.com/SFE_Footprint_Library_Eagle

it will add more footprint and symbols. Most likely you would find the one you need here :)

Hi, I already downloaded this library but don't have this symbol for 2 pins push button. Did you get this symbol? if yes, can teach me how to add this?

Thanks a lot.
