Not familiar with APM ardupilot, but SmartDriveDuo is quite straight forwad, you can either use RC (Radio Control) or PWM.

My advise, try it 1st.

hi,

thank you for the reply.

i tried with RC Receiver directly and it worked wonders.

my objective is to put it to use with an APM 2.6 ( http://ardupilot.org/ ) so i can use the APM with its GPS capabilities to give the ground vehicle a path to go on and also use other similar features of the APM.

no double the Cytron motordriver is a very beautiful piece of electronics. only now if i can make it work with an APM 2.6 it will be magic come true :-)

i am using the V8FR-II receiver listed on this page --> http://www.redsilico.com/frsky-receiver-chart which i want to connect to the Ardupilot (APM 2.6) and further to the SmartDriveDuo-10 for controlling the motors.
