Unknown USB Device

Postby Stuart » Wed Jan 17, 2018 11:54 am

Hi,

I recently found out my USB to Serial not working. Previously, I am working on an Espresso Lite Board, it is working fine. But now I dont really know what happen. I just bought NodeMCU and try to configure but unknown USB device being detected. I tried to reinstall many times driver from CH341 and FDTI web site but cant get it to work again.

Even try to manually add the legacy device by pointing to CH341 folder but funny it is empty (please refer attachment)

But my Arduino Uno is working fine.

Please help... :_(

Best regards,

Stu

Hi,

USB UART chip is different for nodemcu. If not mistaken, the chip is CP2102. Please check for CP2102 drivers and install and try again.
