Hi,
I am interested in the Mini 2-Wheel Balancing Robot made by Cytron.
May I know the part list used to build the robot?
Especially the type of motor driver and motor as I am not sure which motor is suitable for balancing robot.
Thanks in advance.

MCU: dsPIC30F3013
Sensor: gyro and accelerometer
Motor: SPG-10 30:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor (http://www.cytron.com.my/viewProduct.ph ... Zg=&store=)
Motor Driver: L293D (http://www.cytron.com.my/viewProduct.ph ... 5Q=&store=)
Wheel: Pololu Wheel 32 x 7 mm (http://www.cytron.com.my/viewProduct.ph ... Fxv4jOgr4=)
Battery: 7.4V 2-Cell Lipo

Please bear in mind that this robot is very small and thus the motor does not need to provide a lot of torque. From your other post in this forum, I get to know that you are building a Balancing robot which is 5kg and need to climb up a 30 degree slope. In your application, the hardware is definitely not suitable for you.

Last time I planned on using 12V DC motor and 12V lead acid battery. That is the reason why I needed 5 kg for the battery and structure to accommodate it. The 30 degree slope is not compulsory.
Now, if I use 6V motor, I can scale down my robot weight to around 1 kg.
Is it possible for SPG-10 30:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor to drive a 1 kg load at top speed run up a slope just for a few seconds?
Thank you.

I'm not sure whether the motor can carry your load. You may need to work out the required torque yourself. FYI, the mini-2 wheel balancing robot is very light and it weights no more than 600g.
