L293D or L239 both is not sufficient to support a power window motor as the rate current is around 1A only.

TQ for the answer,
can Cytron SPG50-20k drive by L293D and with 12v.?
What is the differences between L293d heat sink and normal ic l293d.
Tq.

Why don't you look at the datasheet of L293D? and also the motor datasheet. The main spec is maximum voltage and current of L293D. Rated current of the motor too. If the rated current of motor is lower than the current of L293D, the motor driver can be used.

Ar....? What is L293D heat sink?

Why don't use L298. If don't want to refer datasheet, just do and run. If ok, it's can use. If chip burn, it's can't use.

i try to find data sheet for power window but fail.
How much is the ampere? It's suitable to use L298N (max 4 ampere).
I have mistaken L293d with heat sink with L298N.

You cannot get datasheet for power window, I never found one. Even when I get one, it does not reflect to the spec for the power window I have. Wira, Toyota, Kancil, too many type of power window and too many manufacturers.

Typically, when it start, it can goes up to 5A easily, without load is around 1 to 2A. When load is apply it can go up to 20A. Anyway this is just a rough idea.

L298 will not be sufficient, just with no load run is fine, when there is load, you will burn it.

next time, please look carefully, avoid wasting other time. Thanks.

Max for the hobbyist is 3A I think, other is surface mount and need to customize using MOSFET...... Good luck!
